From a Quiet Grove to the Edge of the World

In the heart of Tuscany, abandoned olive trees stand weathered, rooted, and still.

At Abandoned Grove, we tend to these trees with patience and intention, bringing life back to a place that society nearly left behind.

Each fall, we masterfully harvest only what nature can reasonably provide—two bottles of premium, extra virgin olive oil per tree. And with every passing year, and the ongoing care of more and more trees, the impact continues to grow.

It was here, among these sun-drenched groves, that The West Coast Fishing Club saw something familiar.

For over three decades, WCFC has operated at the edge of the world—the remote archipelago of Haida Gwaii.

In this wild and remote place, conservation has always come first.

From careful conservation of fish stocks to habitat restoration and community partnership, every decision has been guided by a commitment to sustainability.

The story of Abandoned Grove resonates deeply with WCFC's president, Brian Legge, as an extension of our own. Different landscapes, yes—but shared values.

There is power in harmony, there is strength in synergy.

The WCFC committed to sustaining 150 formerly abandoned olive trees in the La Torre grove, and to amplifying Abandoned Grove’s mission as it dovetails with their own.

We’re proud to share a limited-batch, exceptional olive oil—crafted exclusively for guests of The West Coast Fishing Club.
