As olive oil becomes increasingly commoditized, speed replaces care, and groves that once sustained communities fall out of harvest.

For nearly two decades, Abandoned Grove’s founder Fil Bucchino has worked across the full craft of olive oil: in the groves, at the mill, in sensory evaluation, and in global education.
A certified olive oil taster, international judge, and creator of the documentary Obsessed with Olive Oil, his work has helped bring a deeper understanding of real extra virgin olive oil to audiences worldwide and has helped shape the global conversation around quality, authenticity, and the future of olive growing.
Restoring olive groves means restoring landscapes, harvests, and the communities that care for them.
