A Living Grove in Tuscany
We restore abandoned olive groves and share their oil with our members.
Membership opens the oil to you. Guard a tree, and its harvest is yours by name.
Membership from $45 a year. With a tree, $225.
A living food, shaped by land, season, and restraint.
At its best, extra virgin olive oil has structure, depth, elegance, and energy.
Made for balance, vitality, and pleasure, then verified through certified chemical and sensory evaluation.
Crafted for the table, to deepen what is simple and elevate what is shared.
The Pleasure Comes First.
Everything behind it makes it possible.

“Abandoned Grove is the freshest and purest oil coming into Toronto, highlighting the passion for sharing great oil by the AG team.”
“Delicious, fragrant, spicy and complex.”
“What AG brings to a dish is a feeling, a sense of place, of standards, even of the potential that anything it touches can be elevated and transformed.”
Membership is the way in.
The oil is not sold on shelves. It reaches members, and the groves continue because they do.

The Groves We Return To
Six living groves in the hills above Florence, each shaped by its microclimate, history, varieties, and character.
Each grove has a natural capacity. When its available trees are spoken for, that grove closes.
We Ask Nothing of a Tree Beyond What It Gives Naturally.
Two bottles a year. Rarely more.
Every tree in the grove is tended to the same standard, whether it is connected to a Guardian or held in reserve. When the available trees are spoken for, the grove closes.

The Connection is Physical.
My Grove is yours from the day you join. Inside it you follow your tree: where it stands, how the season moves, and the oil it gives, traceable from the branch to your table.

Made by hand, in the grove.
Your nameplate begins as reclaimed olive wood from rescued groves, cut by Enea and hand engraved by Federica, both artisans from the grove's community.
You choose what it says.
Once it's made, we photograph it at your tree and send you a short video. Then we invite you to come place it yourself, or take it home to keep.
“Your olive oil almost ended my marriage. It is under lock and key now.”
“Cracked open the first bottle today. We were pouring it over everything, licking off of spoons.”
“How is it possible that oil can make you feel like this?”
The world rewards speed.
Convenience over care. Volume over quality.
More bottles, faster production, wider distribution.
Traditional groves were never built for that. They are slower and harder to tend. When the market no longer values the work, families compromise or walk away, and the groves disappear.

But abandoned does not mean dead.
These trees still stand on rare hillsides and in singular microclimates. Restored with skill, they produce exceptional fruit for extraordinary oil.

So we return to them.
One tree at a time, we bring the grove back into harvest: pruning, clearing, rebuilding soil, restoring biodiversity, and making the land productive again without forcing it past its nature.

Restoring or sustaining a grove is one kind of work. Knowing what it can become, how to express it, and what to refuse is another.
One Standard, Carried Through Every Harvest.
For nearly two decades, Fil Bucchino has worked across the craft: in the groves, at the mill, in education, on certified tasting panels, and at international judging tables.
The oil is the work of growers, millers, agronomists, harvest teams, and tasters. Fil carries the standard across it all.
There is no fixed recipe. Each harvest is shaped by grove, season, timing, skill, and restraint, then judged by people who know what to pursue and what to refuse.

A Grove Has Only So Many Trees.
Membership restores the groves and opens the oil to you. When the available trees are spoken for, that grove closes.
Twenty trees or more, held in your organization's name. Grove Custodianship begins with a conversation.
