Sal's Pasta & Chops x Abandoned Grove

This upcoming dinner marks our 10th annual gathering, hosted in Toronto with Chef Fabio Bondi and Michael Sangregorio, this time at their new restaurant, Sal’s Pasta & Chops.

What began years ago around a small table at Local Kitchen, continued through Lucia, and now arrives here. This evening, we’ll gather to taste the 2025 Founder’s Reserve extra virgin olive oil, during which producer, professional taster, and Abandoned Grove founder Fil Bucchino will share insights from the season, its character, its challenges, and updates from the groves.

Chef Fabio crafted a menu inspired by this harvest, with each dish exploring how aroma, texture, and structure evolve, and how olive oil can elevate a dish when treated as an ingredient.
