Origins
In 2009, through a home-spun email list, we introduced 'Adagio del Colle,' an exclusive extra virgin olive oil crafted for Fil's immediate family and friends. Over time, as its reputation grew and word spread, the family list expanded to include friends and friends of friends.
On its 10th anniversary, we marked the transition to 'Family Reserve' extra virgin olive oil.
In 2023, it was aptly renamed once again to 'Founder's Reserve' extra virgin olive oil.
This change was not a rebranding but a tribute to the immense contributions of our community members, whom we consider Founders in their own right. Their early adoption and advocacy were pivotal in allowing our mission to take root.
Maintaining a sold-out status for fifteen consecutive years, Founder's Reserve early access is solely available to our Founder's List and Mail List members.
More than a fresh ingredient, Founder’s Reserve is a vibrant, harmonious extra virgin olive oil is alive with complexity and elegance, showcasing what’s achievable when expertise and intuition converge with the rhythms of Mother Nature.

Founder's List
As an evolution of our long-standing 'Friends & Family List,' in 2023, we proudly launched the Founder's List—an exclusive lifetime membership to honour the remarkable members of our community. These individuals, whom Abandoned Grove regards as true founders, have made significant and instrumental contributions to bringing our vision to life.
Today, our 'Founder’s List’ members include internationally renowned olive oil experts, our grove custodians, farmers, chefs, artists, renowned restaurants, celebrities, scientists, wellness practitioners, and tastemakers.
