Three Extra Virgin Olive Oils Behind Abandoned Grove

Three Extra Virgin Olive Oils Behind Abandoned Grove

Real extra virgin olive oil doesn’t happen by accident.

It begins with a tree, a rescued one, and a commitment to never cut corners.

At Abandoned Grove, none of our oils are invisible.

They aren’t made to fill shelves or chase margins.

Each has a point of view. A place. A reason. An Opinion.

This short video breaks it all down:

One Tree One Bottle

Included with Tree, Grove, and Custodian Memberships

This is the heart of our mission.

Each bottle comes from a specific grove you’ve chosen to support.

Every grove has its rhythm, terrain, and microclimate, so the result is never identical.

In some seasons, we can extract and produce single varietals when the conditions are as such. Others yield beautiful field blends.

No blends from outside. No substitutions.

Just the oil your trees made, and nothing else.

Founder’s Reserve

Available each fall

Founder’s Reserve is my selection, crafted each year from the subsections of the groves that performed best.

Always early-harvest. Always small batch.

It’s an expression of everything I’ve learned over decades as a taster, producer, and olive oil obsessive.

This Reserve is released in time for the holidays and sold by the case.

Community Reserve

Held for members when extra oil is needed

Our groves don’t always yield predictably.

And we never source or blend from outside the ecosystem we’ve built.

That’s why the Community Reserve exists:

To support members in lower-yield seasons and to offer extra oil when someone needs more throughout the year

It’s made with the same standards, from the same groves, just from a separate portion of the harvest that isn’t tied to a specific tree membership.

Why It Matters

Whether you’re new or returning, this is what you’re supporting:

Oil that is place-specific. People-supported. Grown with intention and transformed with care.

It’s our answer to a broken system—one tree, one bottle at a time.

Grazie di cuore,
